Ho Ho HO~~ sorry for the late update KuMehNaSai~~


Last week after MNC, our unit which is UPTEN were in charge of hosting the Hope Kota Samarahan. In the begining, we all were kinda cold towards one another but thank God that Liew Ping has plan all the programmes for our hosting in order to help us to have a better relationship with them. The first night we were having our dinner at Sk restaurant which shown at below.

On the next morning, basically our first activity is to go PICC there help our Hope PJ uncle to transfer the left mineral water to his lori but before that we went for our breakfast which is the most famous "Yue Tao Mai Fan"near Southcity Plaza.

After having our breakfast, we were proceed to PICC for the programme mention above. Indeed it is a great time because we really experience the unity and family spirit during that moment because all of us were helping each other to carry the mineral water boxes and the process ended with a fast period which is 20 mins by transfering 100 boxes of mineral water~~really ALIGATO to all of u he he.

In the afternoon, we were having our street evangelism. Before go for it, all of us was excited and afraid because this is our first time doing street evangelism but however thank God for his peace and good leading because almost all of the respone were good eventhough they didn accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior but they willing to give us their contact and willing to join our christmas celebration on 24th December 2008.

After gone throught the tired yet a fruitful day but unfortunately it comes to the end of our day. All of us were sad and feel hard to let go all the brother and sister form KS who going to fly back to their respective hometown. Eventhough we can't have a wonderful time for a long period BUT!! dun forget in this world got something called INTERNET hence all of us were exchanging our email address with one another to help us to keep in touch. The Heart That Need Healing

- Hi everyone -

Last week, we have went to Youth Service at Hope Kuching. Then, a brother name Brother Daniel share this sermon to all of us about this at Mark 3:1-6. I will like to share this notes to all of you that reading this blog since it has been a long time we doesnt update it.

Introduction
-Prov 4:23
-Our heart condition can be translated to our life style and philosophy
-->if the person heart is negative, the life/action will be negative as well.

1. Hearts that find fault in others or falsely accused others (V1-2)
-Why do people accused others? (do u accused others to gain their advantages?)
-->in order to get ahead of the others.
-->our position is threaten
-->trap of enemy

-When we help each other, built each other up and happy for other people success - our life will be full of joy.

How to avoid this attitude?
Matt 7:3-5
Realised that we all have faults
-learn to deal with our short coming
-help other to deal with their sin with motive

2. Heart that lack mercy for others (v2-3)
-A person without mercy show no compassion to others (why?)
-->take advantages of others
-->have pessimistic attitude

Eph 4:32
-->God's love in our life will help us to always look at the good of others.
-->God's love will hep us to love and have mercy on others.

3. Heart that do not admit fault (V3-4)
-A person who is proud do not like to admit own wrong
-Pride goes before destruction (Prov 16:18)
-God hates the pride and arrogance (Prov 8:13)

4. Heart that seek revenge (v5-6)
-Revenge is a sign of unforgiveness

Idols Shout To The Lord

Dear bro n sis,

Do you know wut's the difference between American Idol Season 7 from all the other seasons before? It's a new season, that's why it's different from other seasons? Hmmm... Maybe... Because it's 7 - the perfect number? Hmmm... Also maybe...

The only difference that I know about this season, is, the Lord is acknowledged in it... How? Hehe... Let me tell you (for those who dunno yet)... In the event, there's one programme called "idol gives back", where the contestants will sing for fundraising purpose to support unpreviledged children, worldwide... In this season, guess what they sang? From the title of this blog, you can guess the title of the song ord.. Yup, it's the evangelical song called "Shout To The Lord"!

It had controversies, in fact, alot... The first time they sang tis song, although no one knows what happened at the back of the stage, they started it with "My shepherd, My Saviour...". They sang that on Wed night. But, on Thur nite, they did a reprise with "My Jesus, My Saviour..." back on the line, with a legal reason, as said by the American Idol producers (not to violate the copyright of Darlene Zschech's written song). Whatever it is, thank God that they changed it back to the original lyrics and performed it again =)

Attached down here is the video of the performance of the song... Another one attached, is the studio version, which they sang the whole song, which I believe, with great passion... They're of low quality, but if you want the good quality version of the song, then get it from me =)

However, my story doesn't end there... While you're loading those video and audio, maybe we can have a little bit of think tank here. There was still alot of debates over the issue by viewers themselves in forums, blogs and websites. Some of them thank the Lord for making the song, sang so beautifully in a #1 ranking and watched by at least 33millions viewers tv show in US network (count of viewers not including other countries). While a lot of others did commented negatively. Some said that the show might get boring if it continues to "get religious". Some Christians said that it is defiling God's name to have idols to perform this sacred song. Some said that it's not respecting God if they're not Christians but sang the song for the sake of singing/performing. Some said church songs should be kept in church, not for show... Now, what do you think?

For me, I personally think that, if they're singing this song as:

• A non-believer: Praise God! For praise n worship is a powerful way to be touched by God. When they sang it, they might feel the power of praising and worshipping God, and get to know God through the experience. With hope, they would eventually accept Christ and sing this powerful song in the church that they want to serve God in!
• A performer: Praise God! They are willing to perform this song and proclaim to the world in a tv show that happens to be watched/addicted by the world viewers, that Jesus is the Saviour and the Son of God!
• A contestant: Praise God! For they sang this song even though they knew most of viewers would be offensed of hearing God and Jesus out of their mouth and cause themselves to lose votes!
• A Christian: Praise God if one,some or all of them are Christians! They made a good stand to acknowledge God in front of 33 million audiences on American Idol stage!
• An American Idol: Praise God! Isn't it great to see that even idols have to proclaim that Jesus is Saviour, Lord and Son of God in front of the whole world that is watching the show?

In conclusions, I thank the Lord for He is working! And He is working through medias. As Satan wants to put negative icons in medias to teach negative thoughts to the world, God puts the truth in the media, that would glorify His name, let the world know who's Jesus and eventually bring His ppl back to Him. Praise God...! And to the comments that church songs should be kept in church, well, it's an evangelical song (purpose is to let the ppl who dunno who's Jesus, to know Him). If it's to be kept in church, that'll be a contradiction against the words of Jesus, that said "it's not the healthy that needs a doctor, but the sick"... Agree?

1 Life, Live it to the MAX camp #1

1 life, Live it to the max is a camp with the concept of boot camp. Incredible.. So here is the photo for the camp. Sorry for the delay of d entry..


1st day - Friday

After that, we go into section Get to know yourself - somekind of ice breaking. So we sketch a human body and each of us choose the organ then write what u expect in the camp, what u wan to excel in ? and so on ..

2nd day - Saturday

Preparing for Human FOOSball



In the game so called Invisible shadow hands. MEaning catch small crabs or called "mah ki". It is not easy to catch. Has to be faster than them and have strategy. Let see how they catch the crabs.

Top secret Loot: It is a station games with approximate 6 to 7 station have to go through within 4 hours. During transition from station to station, there will be the comittee members acting seeking ur help to help them in something.. but actually is a lie. The comittee is the pirates. They want the group become lesser ppl and in the end is like the photo below..

The station game consists of physical and mind and spiritual game...physical> sit up, pushup, run here there, going through obstacle, mind>solving iq question, malaysia history question, spiritual>bible sorting according to books..

Celebration Time consists of Uniform fashion design and a mini sketch. See they wearing their uniform (policeman,fireman,navy and airforce). Interesting rite?

Dinner time or lunch time or makan-makan nasi nasi..

Day 3 - Sunday

Morning all of us have a Sunday Service at the hall then noon we have games called command and conquer (no photos). Night we went to eat (ikan bakar) and celebrate Samuel B'day.

1. Hidden game - Woke up by the comittee early in the morning to cook breakfast at d beach using minimum resources.

End of the camp, we all so tired but the camp is really worth. We know how to become an excellent and maximize our time, talents, socialising and who you are in God. Maximising these areas will make you a different young man of your generation; it will enable you to accomplish more than others and train you for a better future...

Hii Bro and Sis~, do u all know that 08/08/08 is an important date? Wanna know why? is it your lucky number 888? or either Olympics games 2008 at Beijing opening ceremony ? All above are half correct (hehe)... Most importantly 080808 is the day Uniten Caregroup doing cooking ~ Imagine that all the boys cooking for all the people who come (it may not as tasty as Mum's cooking style) but then God gives us a wonderful hand to cook, a pair of eyes to see, a tongue to taste and alot more to bring success to this wonderful homecoming caregroupp.. ~ giving a warm feeling toward home to those who missed their homess~
